Home Health Aides

Advance Hospice Care’s trained and certified home health aides assist in the home with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, and small meal preparation. These extremely attentive individuals provide care above and beyond the routine nursing care given by hospitals and nursing facilities, and work under the supervision of a licensed clinician.

Home Health Aides Assist With:

  • Serving food to the hospice patient
  • Assistance with ambulation
  • Assistance with or accompanying patients to activities
  • Bedside visits, which may include listening, writing letters, and reading
  • Range of motion exercises
  • Massage, application of lotion to skin
  • Perineal care, incontinent care

  • Taking patients for walks outside the facility
